Pannus

Pannus, chronic superficial keratitis,is an auto-immune disease that affects the eyes. Most common in German Shepherds, greyhounds also are subseptible to this condition. Pannus is totally treatable with Prednisolone 1% eye drops. However, the sooner you start treatment, the better, as it will spread to both eyes and can lead to blindness if left untreated.
