What a wonderful thing you are doing. I adopted my first greyhound almost 3 years ago, what a joy he has been. He will never replace my dog that passed on, but he sure does show us unconditional love. I will always have a greyhound from now on.

Don't have hounds but Corgis. One of them is battling chronic diarrhea and your site had some really valuable information about how to deal with it. Better than my otherwise knowledgable holistic vet who wants to resort to Flagyl without a clear diagnosis. Thanks for your experience and for explaning things clearly for us worried dog owners!

I own a retired racer who started in Oregon, then on to Texas and finally Florida. Her name was Smokin' Beauty and she is all that and more. Just after adopting her, she was attacked by a Pitt Bull, in a dog park, and barely survived. The Friends of Greyhound adoption group said "she lived because she was so loved." She fought her way back to life and is doing very well. I wish I could own one more and perhaps in the Fall, will rethink this. I LOVE MY GREYHOUND!!!

I like your website very much. However the voting is strange....when I've cast a vote, the percentage actually DECREASES which seems odd.

I am a member of the ASPCA comunity and there is a group called Greyhounds are gifts. As I can only agree to that I became a member. I am the lucky owner of three ex-racing greyhounds and one whippet. One of my greys was found starving to death in Madrid Spain I picked him up at the airport in Copenhagen March 2005. Connor is born of two Irish exports. I brought Tristan home in December of last year he was emaciated teeth blakish grey with tartar. He is my hands on rescue and deeply loved. Darcy is my youngest I picked him up in Janurary of this year. I have a well integrated pack and they are all deeply loved familymembers.
