Parade & Costume Strut
The town is really looking forward to us doing this, so everyone's attendance is requested. It will be very short, and totally fun - so no excuses!!
we start the day off with the Parade!
When: Saturday,
May 5
Starting right on time at 10 am
Where: Start -
In front of State Bank of Utah- 100W
Travel down Center St. to Parry's Lodge, turn around and repeat route
End - In Front of Kanab Elementary School, near the Sinclair Gas Station
Who: Every human and every hound. Beautiful banners made by Kanab residents will begin the parade.
How: Walking, Smiling, Waving - In Costume, of course for the awesome costume contest!
Rules: You are welcome to wear anything but the Emperor's clothes, carry any banners, sing any songs, dance any ditties - whatever you'd like to do. We will have a mike and the song, "You Ain't Nuthin' But a Hounddog" playing while we walk. All traffic will be diverted by police and rescue workers. Judges will be checking out the costumes on hounds (and humans). And you'll be able to really show them off well during the Costume Strut right after the Parade at Frontier Movie Town
