Over three hundred volunteer adoption groups are waiting to show you the wonders of greyhounds. Contact one near you. See Available Hounds. Learn about Best Kept Secrets in the greyhound world.
Once you contact a local group, you’ll meet them and get your questions answered. The adoption representative will have questions for you. They’ll do a home visit. You’ll complete an application. A hound that fits your lifestyle will be yours to love soon.
Adoption fees range from $200 - $400. This doesn't even usually cover the work required before a hound goes into a home. Spay/neuter, dental, shots, tick-titer tests, nails, bath, housing, food, transportation, advertising are all part of the outlay of volunteer adoption groups.
